Sopha are pleased to announce they have been named as finalists for ‘New Business of the Year’ in this year’s Somerset Business Awards.
Founder, Matt Scott, says “This is a huge achievement for us as we have not yet been open a year. We have been shortlisted for several other awards but being one of the final new businesses in the whole of Somerset is certainly the top accolade given the record breaking number of entries this year. “
Founder, Emily Scott says, added “We were excited to hear earlier this month we were shortlisted for a judges visit, when we could share our business ideas and demonstrate our excellent customer service through our hardworking team. We’re humbled following the visit to find that they had put us through to the final three for this award. We look forward to attending the Awards Evening being held next month on Friday 25th October at the Winter Gardens Pavilion in Weston-super-Mare. We would like to wish all the other finalists good luck.”
Sopha is a new kind of furniture store where they put ethics first from only selling quality products from trusted manufacturers to reducing the amount of plastic they use. They are honest with their pricing as they offer best prices all year-round. There are no dull brands; they aim to make their products as bespoke as possible rather than having the same furniture as every other store. Sopha create products where they can be confident in the quality and are discovering how they can change the industry for the long term.
