The Breathe Duvet is designed to help you feel fresher through the night, especially if you often wake up feeling clammy under a traditional synthetic duvet. Instead of trapping heat and moisture, the Breathe® blend of Smartfil® and Modal allows air and moisture to pass through the duvet more freely. Most synthetic duvets hold onto moisture, which can leave you feeling sticky or overheated. The Breathe Duvet works differently. Smartfil® fibres maintain space between the fibres for airflow, while Modal — derived from natural wood pulp — draws moisture away from the body. You can refresh this duvet at a dust-mite-killing 60°C, making it ideal for allergy sufferers or anyone who prefers a duvet that’s simple to keep clean. Smartfil® fibres are designed to return to their original loft even after repeated washing. 10.5 and 13 Tog King, Super King and All Season sizes require a larger capacity washing machine (10kg) and dryer but smaller duvets will fit into your domestic washing machine.Lightweight, smooth and comfortable
Despite its breathability, the Breathe duvet still feels cosy thanks to the fine Smartfil® fibres. They stay lofty and soft while avoiding the weight and density often associated with synthetic fillings. Made with recycled Smartfil® fibres
Smartfil® fibres are created using recycled PET plastic bottles, helping reduce waste and support the Fine Bedding Company’s ongoing sustainability commitment. These fibres are also GRS certified, ensuring verifiable recycled content.
Modal from renewable wood sources
Modal is derived from natural wood pulp and is both renewable and biodegradable. It contributes to the Breath Duvet’s breathability and moisture-management while offering a lower-impact alternative to many synthetic fibres.
SonicSeam® construction for reduced waste
The unique SonicSeam® method used in the Breathe duvet eliminates the need for traditional stitching in key areas, reducing material waste without compromising durability or comfort.
Engineered to last longer
Smartfil® fibres are ultra-washable and designed to maintain their loft over time. Because the Breathe Duvet withstands repeated laundering without clumping, it stays usable for longer — reducing the frequency of replacement and the environmental impact of fast-cycle bedding.
