Our Harrison Spinks Bedsteads are handcrafted by skilled craftsmen and women in North Yorkshire and each base is manufactured with wood from FSC® certified forests.
With a sleek, slim design, these bases are available with 9 different leg options and come with a variety of different headboards. They come with a padded top for additional comfort as standard.
We have a range of over 50 different luxurious fabrics and colour options to ensure your headboard and base is tailored to your own individual style - the full range is available in store.
The divan base is suitable to be used with mattresses from the majority of UK manufacturers.

Sustainability
Harrison Spinks have gained Carbon Neutral+ status for their commitment to making the mattress and bed industry sustainable. They grow their own hemp and flax on the Harrison Spinks farm(previously known as the Somnus Farm) in North Yorkshire. They have their own flock of sheep that provide home grown wool which reduces the carbon created by transportation. The steel in the springs is made from British Steel, pulled in their own spring plant on the factory site, again reducing transportation emissions.
All of the wood used in Harrison Spinks headboards and divans is sourced from sustainably managed forests that are FSC® certified.
Harrison Spinks has made the commitment to remove all foam and glue from their mattresses and to work towards making their mattresses 100% recyclable. When you think the number of mattresses disposed in the UK is enough to fill Trafalgar Square to the top of Nelson’s Column each year, this can have a major impact. No foams also means moving away from the nasty chemicals that were previously used in mattress production back in the days that memory foam was a big seller.
Harrison Spinks also has been awarded two Queen’s Awards for their sustainable development which has included new designs for spring systems, the re-introduction of Hemp as a mattress filling and an all round commitment to reaching the environmental impact of mattress production.
Delivery
We’ll text you as soon as it’s ready to arrange delivery to the room of your choice. Delivery costs £35 within 100 miles of our store or is free within 5 miles. Free Click and Collect: Buy online and collect from our store in Highbridge. We’ll text you as soon as the goods arrive in our warehouse (please note: some items may require assembly if you choose this service).
